Origin
Maca, scientifically known as Lepidium meyenii, has a storied history dating back thousands of years. Indigenous to the Andean mountain range of Peru, maca has been revered by the Inca civilization and other ancient cultures for its medicinal and nutritional properties.
Maca belongs to the Brassicaceae family, which includes cabbage, broccoli, and radishes. It thrives in the harsh conditions of the Andean highlands, where extreme temperatures, high altitudes over 4000m, and nutrient-poor soil create a challenging environment for plant growth.

How to use: for best results mix one teaspoon of maca root powder into a glass of warm water (max 37C) along with a teaspoon of raw organic honey; drink daily on an empty stomach before breakfast.
