One of our honeys has just won a two gold star Great Taste award from the United Kingdom Guild of Fine Food.
Earlier this year 12366 fine food products entered the 2017 Great Taste Awards in different categories.
Over 500 specialist food tasting judges blind tasted each of these products in 62 tasting days from March to July 2017.
Our Raw Organic Rivera Gum Honey from Uruguay was awarded a Two Star gold award.
The Guild of Fine Food defines a Two Star award as:
"Outstanding. Above and beyond delicious - less than 15% of entries will achieve this rating."
The 8 to 16 judges who tasted and awarded our Rivera Gum Honey two gold stars commented:
"This honey has a fudgy texture but is smooth in the mouth. The depth of the floral notes is outstanding and long lasting. A very special honey indeed."
In September our Award Winning Raw Organic Rivera Gum Honey was on display at the annual Speciality and Fine Food Fair 2017 at London Olympia.
As a result of this win, the Latin Honey Shop has now been invited to display our Award Winning Rivera Gum Honey at specialist fine food events across the UK.
